Pieter Bruegel was a Flemish Renaissance painter known for his landscapes and genre scenes. He was born in 1525 in Breda, Netherlands, and lived most of his life in Antwerp. He is best known for his paintings such as The Peasant Wedding, The Tower of Babel, and The Harvesters.
