Pieter Bruegel

Pieter Bruegel was a Flemish Renaissance painter known for his landscapes and genre scenes. He was born in 1525 in Breda, Netherlands, and lived most of his life in Antwerp. He is best known for his paintings such as The Peasant Wedding, The Tower of Babel, and The Harvesters. Bruegel's work is characterized by his ability to capture the everyday life of peasants and his attention to detail in his landscapes. He is considered one of the greatest painters of the Northern Renaissance.
